As much as I would have wanted him on my team I know He is making waves in his works and I am proud to have him as friend. As you clock a year older today what more can I wish for you but good, enjoy your day my yoruba Igbo brother Abejegah Chinonso Femi.
Let me just drop one of his poems here, this is on leadership
Made to master
Moses stammered ; but had a rod
His peregrinations gave us the Decalogue
EMPATHY, indescribable in our eye sockets
Made Mother Theresa resolve to pull the plug
I would sit on the fence if it's strong enough
But Mandela found unflinching faith in profound fear
Mahatma relished his tears as rain for the crops
Warring not because he wanted his corn-science clear
Martin Jnr saw the promised land in his dream,
Slam-brake the sheer bias of the spangled banner.
And Malcolm x decided to be part of the movement,
Albeit scarred by his father's gruesome murder.
With flaws dispelled, faults eased and fears allayed.
While all else LOOKED, these ones could SEE.
Buoying me to make the future words read,
"THE SEVENTH LEADER WAS ME"
